Alzheimer's Enbrel Perispinal Injection Training is now available to caregivers and family members.

Caregivers arriving for our two-hour training course will be greeted at the airport and chauffeured to our training center. Dr. Acuna or Dr. Ramirez, together with physician's assistant Abraham Valenzuela, will give individual one-on-one instruction to the caregiver with hands-on practice on our model, a living adult, until they become proficient in all aspects of the perispinal injection procedure. Caregivers are then chauffeured to Dicegsa Pharmacy where they are given the opportunity to purchase up to six boxes of powdered Enbrel. (One box contains four vials, each with 25 mg Enbrel.) We offer only genuine Enbrel, marketed by Pfizer and Amgen, and manufactured by Immunex Corp. in Thousand Oaks, California. The cash price is currently approximately $665/box. Caregivers are then chauffeured back to the airport for the flight home. This entire process can take as little as 3½ hours and costs $850.
